In addition to a full line of general contracting services, we also offer preconstruction, construction management and design build services. General Contracting

Negotiated Contract with Lump Sum or Guaranteed Maximum Price: Using state-of-the-art estimating tools and current pricing data, EWBi is able to generate competitive fees, project schedules, value-engineered designs and budgets – thus providing our clients with front-end, substantiated cost proposals.
Design-Build Contract: EWBi partners with proven design professionals, engineers and subcontractors to ensure a synergized team, all sharing the owner’s best interests. By implementing our experience and value-engineering and building acumen as team leader, we’re able to deliver a designed, engineered and constructed project that can save money and still exceed owner expectations.
Design-Assist/Lease Back with Guaranteed Maximum Price: Inflation, state funding timing, eligibility changes and other factors often adversely affect public project costs. The Design-Assist method enables EWBi to offer schools and others public agencies an agreement to modernize the site by providing constructability reviews, ongoing value engineering, budget solutions, and fully-engaged Preconstruction Services. As a result of this ‘no change order’ delivery method, budget adherence is guaranteed.

Initial understanding of scope, schedule and project values are only part of the preconstruction services EWBi offers. Many projects require construction to begin before completion of design documents or field condition pricing. Our preconstruction services, billed at cost-plus-fee, allow for integration of construction into the design phase, where actual conditions and project costs can be clearly and accurately identified before final contract documents are issued for bid.

As an advisor and representative of the project owner, EWBi is able to offer owner-management capabilities without sacrificing owner control of project timelines or responsibility for prime or general contractors. We provide advice during design, manage the bid process and oversee construction in a functional general contractor role. Utilizing our fast-tract delivery experience, we are able to work with design professionals early on, reducing the risk of changes and increased project costs.
